Custom Inventory (CI) filters reduce the complexity to help Console users choose the right values in clear lists.They are applicable to entries of the CI type List, OS Variables and Software Profiles.
User Settings
Users can select CI filters individually in their User Settings Box in the upper right corner of any Console page.

- Users can select filters individually; a multiple selection is also possible (e.g. "FN England" and "FN Germany").
- The selected filter is persistent.
If filters are selected, they are active on the following pages for Custom Inventory:
- Home – Custom Inventory
- Home – Status Change
- Home – Mass Actions
- Add Device
- OSD – Custom Inventory, Operating System Variables (Image Type, Form Factor, Location, Language)
Software Profile filtering becomes active on the pages:
- SWD
- OSD
- SW Profiles

Administration of Custom Inventory Filters
Custom Inventory filters can be maintained under Admin / Filter / Custom Inventory Filter.
Press the CI Filter Configuration-Button to create, edit or destroy Custom Inventory filters:
Filter options are:
- equal
- not equal
- in
- not in
- begins with
- doesn’t begins with
- contains
- doesn’t contain
- ends with
- doesn’t ends with
- is empty
- is not empty
- is null
- is not null
