1. Introduction


CentralSearch allows users to search devices and users across their IT environment using keywords. Administrators can configure it on the admin page. The interface is divided into three tabs, each providing different search results and available actions.  

2. Computer Search



The Computer Search allows you to search for devices in your assigned Ivanti Scope using the following properties:


  • Device name
  • SerialNumber
  • NIC Address

Selecting a device opens the Home page in five(9)s Console with the device already preselected for further actions. The Remote Control feature is also directly accessible from Device Search.


3. User Search


The User Search allows you to search for specific users showing information about matching users along with available user actions such as password resets, account management and user history. Selecting a user displays their assigned devices, which can also be controlled remotely.


4. Preferred Server and PXE Search


The Preferred Server and PXE Search allows you to search for servers using the following properties:


  • Device name
  • Replicator device name


Search results provide an overview of Preferred Servers and PXE servers, including their assigned roles, Replicator information, service status, and replication information.
