Implementation Prerequisites

Important Note:
During the installation process of the five(9)s Console additional tables will be created in your Ivanti Database. As the five(9)s Console is an Ivanti Certified Product, these modifications will neither harm your existing Ivanti system, nor prevent you from further updates. 1. Prerequisites

Before installing the five(9)s Console please ensure the following requirements have been met:

The five(9)s Console must be installed on your Core Server.
The Ivanti Core Server must be a member of your Microsoft Active Directory (Test) Domain.
The Core Server must run an up to date Ivanti Management Suite 2021 and up installation with a Microsoft SQL Server 2019 database or later.
You should have access to a DB Account with owner rights on the Ivanti DB.
Domain account is to be used as “Install Account” for the five(9)s Console. This account has to be an Ivanti EPM admin.
The above domain account must have an email address assigned to it.
One email account that will act as an email sender and, hence, has rights to connect to your corporate email server (SMTP). We recommend you use a dedicated account for this
When the Console First Run Wizard is running (see Step 3 below), the DC of your domain must be up and running.
The console runs on all Ivanti supported browsers. However, due to different versions, interpretations of html, javascripts and css the look and feel as well as the usability might differ from browser to browser. We suggest to use google chrome (for a faster experience) or the latest internet explorer. Please note: browsing on the Core Server might cause some functionalities not to work properly due to server security restrictions.
For five(9)s Console activation we recommend that your Core Server is connected to the Internet. (see Chapter 3).

Important Note:We strongly recommend that you evaluate the five(9)s Console on a Ivanti test system. Additionally, we suggest you make a backup of your system or use other means in order to restore the Ivanti system to the prior-console installation state.

2. Hardware Requirements

The five(9)s Console is a very lean and high performance software. Based on the hardware requirements of your IVANTI EPM installation the five(9)s Console will approximately use

RAM	750 MB
Hard Disk Space	300 MB

of your existing configuration.

3. Software Requirements

For a detailed overview of prerequisites please consult the release documentation of your current console version.
